Hedging our bets on some bramble bashing
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Sunday, 21st of October 2018
Here's what Mrs D of S2 had to say about the mission:
"They did such a lovely job, I am very happy with what they did!"
On a particularly sunny autumnal morning in #SheffTownBestTown two Goodgymmers set to work on the lovely Mrs D's garden.
Upon arrival Mrs D asked us to tidy up the back garden which had become overgrown. Choosing our tools, Bee tackled the monster hedge of brambles whilst George donned some delightful googles for hedge trimming.
The hedge was soon tamed so we both then tackled bramble spaghetti junction! With much heaving and Bee's skills with the saw we cleared a huge amount. There wasn't quite enough time to finish the whole garden but we'll hopefully be back soon to finish the job!
All in all, a job well done and we got to have a really nice chat with Mrs D too.
