Hedgerows and Broomsticks
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Saturday, 2nd of September 2017
2 GoodGymers visited Neighbourly Norma to help her reign in her privet hedge and provide a better outlook onto her road.
Norma supported GoodGym on our last mission in the area by providing equipment needed to help us trim her neighbour's climber.
Busy Bee and Keen Kat got to work to produce 4 bags of privet cuttings through our artistic hedge cutting skills, and weeding Norma's front garden.
After pruning the privet Bee mowed the back lawn, with Kat helping to reveal Norma's previously obscured roses for her and her husband's enjoyment.
We finished off with a good chat with Norma about the great benefits of Tai Chi for mind and body wellbeing, with an open invitation from Norma for us to check out her local class, at her local community centre which she spiritedly supports. :) :)
