It was wonderful to help Mr & Mrs J in their garden today as they had a real treat in store for me.

Ill health means that they’ve been unable to tackle their hedge which had become unruly and needed bringing back under control.

After agreeing upon how much scaling back was required and with a fine array of tools to work with, I had great fun cutting, snipping and lopping a variety of branches and leaves from front, side and rear to restore some order.

Stopping briefly to chat to their two fish in the pond and refuel with a most welcome sandwich provided by Mrs J, it was time to clear away the trimmings and tidy up.

Great task, big impact, happy days! 😊
