Have an Egg-cellent Easter! 🐣🥚
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Wednesday, 13th of April 2022
Mrs M’s shop was an evening mission today, as I had spent the afternoon with a colleague to meet her 6-week old baby for the first time (super cute!) Mrs M was glad to see me, and seemed particularly chatty today. We talked about her health as usual, as well as plans for the upcoming Easter weekend. We even discussed her family’s plans for a big get together soon, with perhaps up to 25 of them gathering!
Mrs M had a special request for some lotion to help her knee surgery scar to heal, so I first went to Boots before collecting her groceries from Tesco. Melon escaped me again (not sure what’s going on there, it’s as if there’s none at all at the moment!)
I trundled back to Mrs M with quite a heavy trolley, and popped it over the doorstep for her. As a thank you, Mrs M handed me a portion of her delicious noodle stir fry and a couple of spring rolls, which I took home with me and had for dinner. Thank you Mrs M, it was scrumptious!
I am travelling for the next couple of weeks, so I bode a farewell to Mrs M and wished her a Happy Easter & all the best in the meantime. Hopefully some other GoodGymers can help her out whilst I’m gone. 😊
