Groundbreaking work at Old Alleynian
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Old Alleynian Rugby in Southwark.

Six goodgymers met Ian at the rugby club this morning to help with some landscaping work.
It was lovely to see the kids out and about playing rugby again. It's the biggest gathering of people I've seen for a year, and combined with the sunshine it made for a cheerful start to the day.
The task was to level off the ground so that the pitch can be extended. It was tough work, with digging, transferring soil, wheelbarrowing, raking and a bit of pick axeing in the mix.
We searched for "treasure" along the way, with highlights being a baking tray, a very long piece of wire and a pepsi-cola can from the 60s. No dead bodies or jewels this week, but maybe next time.
The club has lots of work planned for the summer, so we will be back! Watch this space.
