#goodgym shift at St Hilda's
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the LinkAge Plus Project in Tower Hamlets.

Today’s brief: To deliver tuna pasta and rainbow salad to local residents.
I was visiting locally so the drops were perfect for me on the journey back to my desk.
I took the pleasant ride through Brick Lane and bumped into a fellow volunteer doing lunch drops too.
I would thoroughly recommend a shift like this as you have an active lunch away from the desk, get some fresh air and return to afternoon duties refreshed and revitalised.
You get to meet some cool people and gain the satisfaction of taking part in a productive venture to help support the vulnerable and needy.
With us all getting used to the #newnormal it really is an important time to give some time to those struggling to adapt.
It greatly helps that the food parcels are freshly packed and ready for our arrival at St Hilda’s. I really enjoyed having brief chats with my happy customers today.
It really doesn’t take much to bring about a smile 😊
