Mr C has limited mobility and arthritis in his hands, making it difficult for him to use tools and tend his garden. And boy, have the weeds in the front lawn taken advantage of the rain and warm weather. Mr C called it a jungle, I think of it as more of a meadow. Nonetheless, the lawn needed some control and the brambles had taken over the hedging. Sheila set to work on the lawn with the strimmer whilst Georgeta took on the hedge. These seemed to be extra-prickly brambles, but we managed to wrestle all the cuttings and the hay into 2 large hippo bags ready for Mr C to take to the tip. Whilst not quite bowling green quality, the garden looked so much better, and we shall have to make a return visit to tackle the back gatden
