*Goodgym bring the (wiki) house down!
12 GoodGymers made their way 4.0km to help the The Ideas Hub in Chelmsford.

12 good gym runners, including newbie Fay helped take down a wiki house and load it on to a flatbed truck. The wiki house was a project initially made so that plans could be shared for free and a house could be made by hand from wood anywhere in the world. From the plans laminated wooden sheets are cut to shape and the pieces slot together by hand. A tutor from Anglia Ruskin University and some students from there and Writtle collage worked with the original architects to build this house and we were to take it apart and load it up! As usual many hands make light work and we removed pegs and boards holding it together slowed only slightly by the size of the pieces and the fact some of the bolts had been painted over so would not unscrew! We all got stuck in and moved one of the last big items from the ideas hub, our home for the last 14 months. It was a sad day but also fitting as we undertook the task of moving the house 2 years ago on a special one off goodgym preview session. We are also moving to the university but fortunately for some of the team are not to be reunited with the wiki house! After the run and some tea provided by Edith we set off on a run across some of the parkrun course, interspersed with intervals, wall sits and press ups. Everyone completed the 4km route and made it back safely. Don’t forget next week we are meeting at the university, full details on the Goodgym pages!
