Pride 10k is an annual race meeting organised by London Frontrunners - an inclusive LGBT+ sports club. This event was fundraising for Micro Rainbow, a charity that supports housing for LGBQTI immigrants.
Goodgym members Aine, Asad, Chris, Hester, Sara and Simon came along on this sunny Saturday morning to be part of the volunteering squad who helped to make this event a major success after two years away.
Aine back-marked the 2k children's race, while Simon marshalled. Sara, Chris and Hester were on water station duty, Simon, Aine and Asad were honoured to be handing out the beautiful medals to race finishers!
Frontrunners were a great and friendly team to support at the event, and we joined the competitors, organisers and their supporters at the local pub for burgers and drinks to unwind in the beer garden. Lovely day!
