This evening we headed to Pyrford Church Of England School where we had to tackle a huge bramble bush. We were joined by Rebecca from GG Wandsworth who was in the area for the week. When we saw the bush we had to tackle we thought we had a good few hours of work but with the right tools and James expert gardening knowledge we split up in two teams and tackled the bush from each end. Becky & Harriot scooped up all the brambles that had been cut and disposed them into the skip. A member of the school staff was on site and was amazed how much we done. Refreshing watermelon was provided ο and it went down a treat. Once we where satisfied with our evening shift we cleared away the tools and headed off the the Anchor along the river for a well deserved drink and some food.
This Sunday Woking Junior Park Run are looking for marshals
The day after we received an email from the school.
