5 runners ran a 6km circuit and did some fitness
In the absence of a task this week, we decided to go for a group run and mix some fitness in with it. The run was a 6km circuit starting on the bunny walks and round to the Avenues for inclines and a few different exercises.
After running down Seventh Avenue, we did star jumps, and continued with squats at the bottom of Fourth Avenue, and lunges at the bottom of Second Avenue. Joe seems setting himself up as our fastest runner, this week sprinting past Russell to the top of an Avenue.
I did say that there were more exercises left, but everyone seemed disappointed to find that the final exercise was a wall sit in the viaduct. Sorry for not giving a time and letting everyone suffer until I said get up!
Thanks Russell for our title, and Becca and Charlie for lots of chatting whilst we ran!
See you all soon,
Laurie
