Gone bud not forgotten
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hounslow.

Here's what Mr R of TW7 had to say about the mission:
From Mr R's cousin: "could you please pass on our profuse thanks to Beth. It was incredibly kind of her to go and do his garden both yesterday and today. He’s absolutely delighted. He told me she did a wonderful job for him and she was also very kind to him which I very much appreciate. He is so relieved that his garden is now neat, tidy and well tended. "
The lovely Mr R needed someone to tackle an unruly buddlia from next door, which had been creeping through (and breaking) the fence. With a pair of secateurs, the offending plant was taken care of, along with another bush further down that had followed suit. Next some of the weeds were tackled, to tidy up the garden but not make it too bare. Mr R explained how the house had been in his family for 4 generations, and clearly important to him. Next up was the front garden, cutting back the hydrangea which had become overgrown, and a start on the weeding. After a couple of hours, more time was needed, so a further trip tomorrow will finish the job.
