Mission

Girls just want to have fun

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

After a last minute family emergency, it was Ms G, Bianca and Anne in the garden today. Thanks to two earlier missions, the large garden was looking good but Ms G's eagle eye had spotted a few more bits to improve.

Not one to sit around, Ms G was ready to go when we arrived, and had a few boxes of new plants. While we set to clearing and turning earth, Ms G finished off the large bed.

We got the rest of the beds turned over, and refreshed with new compost (stolen from the nearby church using a zimmer frame as a wheelbarrow (absolute genius)

Ended up with a happy Ms G, a few admiring neighbours and Bianca with the news of hitting a PB at her earlier parkrun and Anne mentally noting that yellow was NOT the correct choice of tshirt colour as every single bug in Dalston decided it was a great place to settle.

(Oh and Ms G had permission to take the church compost, so no bail will need to be posted for your fellow runners)
