GG Leeds 161 Killer Steps Challenge Complete!
4 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Leeds.

- Led by Jenny
On a very wet Saturday, 3 Goodgym Leeds runners were joined by newbie Sophie in Armley Mills carpark to take on the 161 steps.
We walked up to Armley Park to find the start of the steps.
As we looked up in awe at the steps ahead we waved at another participant who was on her 10th round of steps!
Minnie mentioned before we set off about her fear of bashing her teeth on the steps, which in turn resulted in us all getting the fear!
On the way up Rachel used her forest knowledge to identify a mini frog!
When we reached the top of the steps we read about the history of the steps and found that they had been there since 1893!
We also had another educational snippet on Ash die back disease from Rachel.
In total we managed to do 8 attempts at the steps before making our way back to the car park and doing a stretch!
It was lovely to do a challenge that wasn't virtual and it was great to catch up and meet lovely newbie Sophie.
Thank you

Great challenge! Next time we will do 10 💪 Great to meet you all!
Was so good to see you all Xxx Let's definitely do it again! I reckon we could work out to 10 lots like that lady 😁 xxx
Great to have a chatter batter in between panting up the steps! Living in fear of the muscle soreness that feels inevitable!
