Getting To The Root Of A Thorny Issue

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.

Sunday, 22nd of October 2017

Following on from the great work that previous GoodGymers had gone on de-brambling Mrs P's garden, James and Victoria got to work on eliminating those pesky roots.

Yes, they were a thorn in their sides but, after a few tumbles, many of the deep, dark roots were eliminated - their spidery appendages successfully bagged up for disposal. Mrs P supported the effort with tea and a huge selection of snacks - Turkish Delight, Fruit Cake, Shortbread, and Dates.

Once the sugar rush had done its job, and the garden smelt of freshly turned soil, James and Victoria chatted to Mrs P about her plans for the garden - which may even suit a GoodGymer who has a skill for planting seeds!
