Gardening Tidy Up
3 GoodGymers made their way 8.5km to help the Kids Inspire in Chelmsford.
- Saturday, 22nd of June 2019
- Led by Chelmsford runner
This was a Saturday community mission at Kids Inspire's new premises. They had organised in the week some help from businesses to start attacking the extensive gardens and today professional tree fellers and gardeners came in to do the tree trimming and bush cutting.
Catherine popped in this morning and myself and Russell did an afternoon shift for a few hours.
The building had been empty for two years and therefore the garden was rather overgrown, we moved lots of garden waste into builders rubble sacks and transported it into the skip.
We will have lots to do at Kids Inspire over the coming months in their garden.
On my return I treated myself to an Oyster Ice Cream!
