Gardening in a secret garden
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Friends of Cheney Row Park in Waltham Forest.
- Sunday, 30th of January 2022
- Led by Redbridge runner
As outlined, the mission was litter picking and clearing brambles. Cheney Row Park is a little hidden gem of a garden park at the end of Cheney Row. The were plenty of tools, gloves and even safety goggles available and after a health & safety talk, everyone signed up to confirm they understood there could be cuts & scraps and then set to work. A satisfying amount got done and there was tea, coffee and biscuits in abundance at midday when we finished. A lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
