Fruit for thought 🍍
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Wednesday, 30th of June 2021
Another week of missions brought another shop for Mrs M - and, as usual, her list was loaded with fruit and vegetables; pineapple, kiwis, beetroot, strawberries, potatoes, green grapes, lemons, green beans and onions were all on the list today. During our usual chat before the mission began, Mrs M told me that she wanted to start stocking up on some staples as well ahead of her upcoming knee surgery as she needs to isolate both before and afterwards. It made a change for me to be hunting down sardines, weetabix and seasoning alongside her usual fruit and vegetable selection! After a sweep around Tesco I had everything on the list, and so I headed back to Mrs M with a loaded shopping trolley and her change.
