Six runners tackled rubbish and litter from castlebeck area up to Manor fields. We'd been planting trees in the morning, now we were up for a Plog to clean up the Sheffield streets. It must have been fate that directed our feet - we'd barely left castlebeck that we found our first treasure, a lonely looking tote bag screaming to be picked up and saved from urban litter - we knew we could be urban heroes! Soon another gem was found - a trump card in the name of mankey. Bags were filled, bags were emptied in bins en route on numerous occasions. A beautiful mural concluded our quest for a cleaner city... (and cake too, but that's another story!)
