Fly Hard 2: Flyer Harder

It was wonderful to see some familiar faces return to group runs last night and also to welcome new faces from our neighbouring boroughs!
We started the evening by distributing the flyers amongst the group as we had a lot to carry and warmed up with a game of rock, paper, scissors which is fast becoming my favourite warm up. The confusion between who wins and loses and the realisation that even the winner has to do some form of exercise...
Armed with my trusty paper map marked with the streets we needed to cover, we headed up the hill for a second time to deliver the rest of the leaflets. A couple of people tackled the streets at the bottom of the hill and the rest of us continued making our way to the top.
Julian and Miguel tackled a long street with multiple side streets and rejoined us nearer the top of the hill. No getting lost - they deserve big cheers.
Another group headed off down further side streets and rejoined us at the top, just in time for the final group to rejoin us as we made our way down the hill and back to the start point. Fantastic work everyone!
We have a community mission on Saturday at St Mary's Church, we'll be getting involved in planting the shade boarder and planting bulbs. Sign up here
Next week we are heading back to Hither Green to tackle the mountain of soil again - third time lucky. All the info here.
