4 GoodGymers braved the rain to support the Friends of Cator Park with a little turf slicing and flipping - a perfect pancake day task! 🥞
We met at the Bridge House and shared our favourite pancake type (thick American won) and toppings of choice. Then we hit the road and entered the drizzle...
It was a 2k run to Cator Park where we met Lou who showed us our task - finishing off some edging of the paths - slicing the grass and flipping the remnants into the flowerbeds. We were handed shovels and got to work.
It turned out that the grass had crept a good way onto the path so we had a tough job on our hands. Finding the edge of the path was a bit of a challenge and it seemed to disappear in some areas...
After half an hour we called it a day having had a serious upper body workout! 💪
FLIPPING GREAT STUFF
I hope you manage to get some pancakes in your belly. 😋
