Fish, Savoy!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Friday, 17th of November 2023
Today was Sevan's first time shopping for Mr G. He'd heard sea shanties sung about his book of labels and was keen to be given responsibility for the precious cargo. Mr G had his list ready and after some clarification, Sevan picked up Mr G's trolley and ran to the first seapermarket.
As Sevan sailed the channels of Sainsbury's, he was able to find everything Mr G was looking for, including netting some fresh fish and cabbage. Finding breaded chicken was more troublesome and Sevan needed some help to find it, but what would you expect in the sea. They're hardly native species.
Sevan left one seapermarket and walked to the nearby Waitrose where his good fortune ran out in the ready meals river. Mr G's budget wouldn't stretch all the way, so Sevan grabbed what he could, loaded it into the trolley and left the seapermarket for the street.
Sevan was feeling pretty confident with the trolley at this point, so he ran back to Mr G's with it at a 5:50 minutes/km pace, which he felt pretty good about. Almost as fast as getting the groceries Deliveroe-ed.
