Felix fine

First warehouse shift at the Felix project in Deptford, sorting tonnes of pallets for delivery to local organisations who distribute food that would otherwise be wasted. The regulars showed me the ropes and I shared my shift with two other newbies. It was quite tough work lifting and in and out of chillers, but very satisfying if you like configuring stuff into neat boxes and ticking things off lists. Plus plenty of free food for volunteers to keep our energy up.
