Explore doll avenues

If you ask a GoodGymer what Saturday morning means to them, there is a high chance the answer will be "parkrun!". Not being such a keen runner myself, I decided to market my goodgymming capabilities somewhere else.
I ran to Mill Hill Park Acton to meet Elisabeth, who is in charge of two weekly Saturday morning litter-picking events in the area. She handed me high-end litter-picking gear: a blue LAGER Can waste bag with a handihoop bag opener. Wow! 🤩 Equipped with such a snazzy kit, I was assigned to walk down Avenue Road and make it sparkle ✨.
Mill Hill Park Acton residents didn't entertain me with a variety of weird stuff thrown on the streets. The site seemed pretty clean, with occasional tissues, plastic bottles, fast food packaging and cigarette buds scattered here and there. The only interesting thing I found was a doll/figurine of a boy which I ruthlessly chucked into my bin bag. What is a disappointment to thrill-seeking GoodGymers is bliss for the residents!
After over half an hour I could spend on the task, I covered the road I was supposed to clean and parts of adjoining streets. I barely filled half of the bag, can you believe it? Elisabeth was still very happy about an extra hand I could lend, and I had a perfect warm-up of my litter-picking muscles before my two other missions that day.
