Every little deed we do is magic 🎶
7 GoodGymers made their way 3.3km to help their local community in Brent.

Tonight seven super GoodGymmers ran to the Old Police Station to help a local community centre.
Meeting at the Queensbury we were joined by Rosie and Danny who came along for their first ever GoodGym runs. Give them a cheer!
Debbie also joined us for her 50th good deed! Definitely worthy of a cheer. Well done Debbie.
It was a freezing cold night but we got going quickly. After warming up we ran a quick loop to the old police station. After standing derelict for years, the building has been rescued by volunteers who are turning it into a community centre.
We were split into two teams: three indoors scraping then painting the floors and the rest outside planting flowers. The centre had recently taken delivery of 6000 potted flowers so there was plenty to do.
Half an hour later, we had planted about 100 flowers (and done some weeding) and painted about two thirds of the floor. It was a brilliant effort and we'll look forward to heading back in a few weeks to carry on.
After that, we ran a loop back, stretched and set off home. Thanks for joining me on a coooolllllddd night everyone - see you soon.
To the music (not even sorry) 🔗
