I gave M a call to see if she’s still in hospital and how she’s been getting on, as she’s been finding it a very lonely experience. It was a ridiculously windy day so I told her how I’d caught the bus to work instead of cycling as I was worried I’d get swept away with the gusts and gales. We agreed it had been a bit of a rubbish weather week and I’d spent most of it drying off after drenchings. I asked if I’d be able to visit tomorrow and M said she’d love to have some company and said that’s given her something to look forward to. Hopefully the winds will have died down by then and I won’t be swept there!
