Edging around the hedges
12 GoodGymers made their way to help the Malago Berry Maze in Bristol.

It was a bright and sunny Saturday morning when a merry bunch of good-doers came to give our beloved maze some goodgym love. Sadly there was no scarecrow construction this time round, but that didn't stop us from jumping in and helping Barney and Jackie with maze maintenance (mazetenance?)
The pathways were creeping in on the berry bushes, bringing weeds along with the grass, which meant that some new edges were needed throughout the maze. We tooled up and spread around the maze while veteran goodgymers still managed to get lost, despite the numerous trips here.
We welcomed newcomer Rosannah to goodgym, who did a cracking job with Sophie at clearing the outside of the maze. On the inside Emma jumped on the mower to deliver cheery drive-by chats to the rest of the cutting edge team. After a good hour, we cleared up and left the maze with a fresh & sharp new look that'll kept the weeds at bay for a little while longer.
We also celebrated Nathalie 's 100th Goodgym task! She may have dodged donning the centurion outfit (for now), but she definitely hasn't avoided an opportunity to give up her time for good causes around Bristol. Well done Nathalie!
Thanks for coming along everyone! We'll be back again soon (hopefully this will be the time we finally get to make these scarecrows!)
