Easy Like Sunday Morning (Part 1)

It was a gorgeous summer morning in Saltwell Park today. 90 youngsters defied the heat to run, walk and skip round junior parkrun, making it look easy! Perhaps they were inspired by the Olympic Games athletics this week. Perhaps we’ll see one or two of them competing in future! My role as a marshal was also easy today and I finished my morning in the park with a little run of my own. Then back home to watch the last of the Olympics! Go Team GB!
