Easy Like Sunday Morning (2)

Saltwell Park is one of my favourite local parks (even if it is over the river!) and I decided to combine volunteering at junior parkrun with a litter pick. I noticed that there are actually lots of bins in the park, which probably explains why there didn’t seem to be as much rubbish as in some of the other parks that GoodGym Newcastle helps in. It also makes it frustrating that there’s still any litter at all! Either way, there’s now a bit less than there was - an easy win for the morning. Now hoping for more wins for Team GB on the final day of the Olympic Games!
