Easter chick(en) and eggs!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Friday, 10th of April 2020
Ms L is unable to get to to the shops at the moment so it was my pleasure to head to the local supermarket for her Easter weekend provisions. After some clarification on the doorstep of what was needed she gave me her shopping list. Half an hour later I was still in the queue which wound its way round the supermarket car park - next time perhaps I'll make the most of it by doing some squats, lunges and star jumps to pass the time! Once inside the store I avoided the temptation of the unlimited supplies of Easter eggs, managed to find everything on the list, bar frozen cauli which I substituted with a fresh one, and was very gratified that the total bill came to £19.87, leaving me with 13p change to return with the shopping to a very happy recipient.
