Great beginners run this evening peeps. On arrival for sign up it was lovely to be greeted by Gosia. Gosia is a Goodgym tourist and has nearly completed all the London boroughs with only Brent left to do........... Well tonight was a bit damp but by know means cold. The warm up was led by Susan who has recently qualified as a leader and with me recovering from flu, she was a real help this evening. it was long before we were heading up towards Welling HIgh Street. The runners tonight kept in a tight group and as we dodged the commuters heading home from work we chatted about what we got up over the last week. Peter had a great time in Dubai, took his running gear but didn't manage a run so was sincerely reprimanded :-) Neil managed to do the Poppy marathon with a touch of man flu and basically told us the last 5 miles destroyed him, but being a Bexley Goodgymer he dug deep and got the job done. Well done Neil. As we arrived at our destination it was all hands on deck. With dusters, cleaning sprays and brooms it was time to give the Welling Green and Bexley hospice shop a winter clean up. Splitting up into two teams, worryingly with the men heading for the toys dept we got stuck in. After 40 mins of watching a fine oiled Goodgym machine at work the job was completed. i could see my face in the floor (ok, maybe that bit is a lie). With everyone satisfied that the job was complete it was time for our mandatory group selfie, roll call, and run home.

It was great to run with you yesterday! Looking forward to see some pics from the Santa Dash race ;)!
I've had the pleasure of Gosia's company at Lewisham and Bromley now, top tourist :)
