Down the Line
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Wednesday, 29th of June 2022
Click, click, click .... Ms J tried to familiar with herself how to use her smart phone for online food shopping as she is unable to go out and rely on good wills of her neighbours and her carers in the short-term.
'It'll provide me independence and be able to do things by myself' when I asked Ms J what she wanted to achieve.
Ms J learned very fast and in no time she was able to follow the process step by step searching relevant food items with the right quantity, sorting and filtering with the lower price first and finding out any special offers and deals on the website.
To ensure that Ms J can practice further and remember how to carry out online food shopping and to start her registration later, I have written a simple step by step guide for Ms J so that she can refer to.
My advice to Ms J is not to be afraid of online shopping as she just needs to follow the screen step by step. If anything goes wrong she can go back to the previous page and starts again. I also suggested Ms J getting herself organised, writing down a list of items that she needed so that when she's confident enough, she can rock and roll with her first online food shopping.
Looking forwards to seeing this little step will change Ms J's life and open a new door for her!
