A Goodgym early riser turned out on Sunday morning to support the Luton running club Stopsley Striders at their annual Stopsley Trail Race.

Firstly assisting the Race Director and her team with unloading signage and setting up the marshalls briefing. Then making tracks to take up position at marshall point number 10 to support, cheer and direct a field of formidable runners enduring some fierce heat and dust as they made their way around 5 or 10 miles of hot and hilly trail.

A well organized race and fortunately free of mishaps, accidents, health issues or heat exhaustion, the final finishers were home and marshall duty done for shortly after midday. A great morning and a very enjoyable task.
