This is becoming part of my 'arms day' workout!
The planters in the sun were definitely very dry after yesterday whilst the ones in the shade were still nicely watered! Here's how I got on today:
Litter: Quite a lot of litter comparing to normal but still nothing too awful. Thankfully today, for the first time this year, I remembered to bring gloves so was able to pick out all the cigarette butts, juice cartons, used train tickets and cans without the eek factor!
Feeding: I've noticed that the flowers are growing a lot slower (but they are growing!) than the ones I have at home and they were planted at the same time. So I decided to donate my long-release plant feed tablets - I've put two in the planters that could do with bushier displays of colour.
Watering: Thanks to the watering tools sourced by Linda & Ed this part is easy! Apart from lifting that is... Also, the men's toilets were cleaned just before so it was a nice experience overall lol. I've done about 4 runs with two watering cans to really soak the dry planters and top up the other ones.
Overall, the planters are looking good considering they are maintained ad hoc myself and goodgymmers!
