Don’t Stop Beleafing

Jody and I where were greeted by the lovely Ms S and given our instructions.
We were to cut back some trees that had got out of hand and were starting to hit the windows as well as sweep up the leaves covering the patio. Once we found the right tools (thy were in the shed as well as the kitchen) we got to work.
I stared by climbing up and sawing back the tree branches while Jody stayed below and was clipping back some of the low branches and sweeping the leaves. After a good hack job of the trees I came down and started cutting everything down to smaller pieces and we packed it all away into 4 bags and left it for the bin men to collect.
After an hour we were done. Ms S was delighted and surprised at how much we managed to do. She also told s how in 1940 she was evacuated to Canada where she grew up until coming back to the UK. She also told us about her great uncle who fought in WW1. Some amazing stories and history.
Great working with you Jody
