1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 7th of April 2022
This week's shop for Mrs M was on a Thursday (rather than her usual Wednesday) due to her procedure on her foot. We had a very brief chat before I was off to Tesco, with Mrs M telling me all about the procedure. It was nice to be able to see eachother's faces this week, after almost a month of communicating through the door whilst Mrs M had to isolate pre-surgery.
Yet again this week, there was no melon. But everything else was easy to pick up after a quick whip around both the Tesco and Sainsburys up at Kings Cross. Mrs M had requested some AAA batteries if there was enough money left over, and so I scooted back to Tesco at the end to pick some up. Thanks to a rather hefty clubcard discount, I was able to pick up 12 with the money I had left.
Back to Mrs M I went. She was very pleased that I'd managed to get the batteries so went off to put them into her candle lights almost immediately, and I headed back to the office with some tasty red bean buns as a treat (thank you Mrs M!)
