Diving bread-first into the shop
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Wednesday, 27th of April 2022
Today I popped out during my lunch hour to complete a small shop for Ms L: she's unable to carrier several heavier items by herself as a result of some health issues.
On top of Ms L's regular items, she included some sourdough bread as a wildcard. Unfortunately the bakery section is at the front of the store, which meant that as I dove bread-first into the list, I also ended up buying myself & (for the purposes of this report, I'll pretend) my work colleagues some doughnuts. Sometimes doughnuts just happen that way 🤷🏼♀️ The only other thing of note was a quick call to Ms L to make sure a 6 pack of tomato's was ok as Sainsbury's wasn't selling them individually.
Shopping completed, I returned Ms L's change and shopping to her and went back to work ( and to doughnut, which is equally true, if less commonly used as a verb).
