Last night saw Solihull GoodGym-ers back at Trinity Close for the first time now that spring is upon us and able to run don in the daylight and warm.
Once we had run down the hill to Trinity Close, we met John, who set us to work clearing the rose garden from all the weeds and grass that had grown over the winter months, We also had to deadhead daffodils the daffodils which was new to all of us with lots of talk about we go about this in our own gardens.
After a short while, feeling like we had made a small dent in getting the garden ready for summer, it was time to tidy up, say our goodbyes and head back on our way to base, up hill!
Once back, the evening was so nice, we were able to have a drink in the garden area.
