Dame Judi Bench
9 GoodGymers made their way 9.1km to help the Writtle GP Surgery in Chelmsford.

A new month, a new task. And this one is brand new to us! Writtle GP surgery are building a wonderful sensory dementia garden for their patients and needed some help.
First though, comes the run! We met in Central Park due to the length of the run. Setting off, we headed along the Parkrun route and then veered off towards Writtle. We admired the wonderful lights on the path and trotted along at a rapid pace.
We met Fay and Sallyann there (we almost always have a shorter option) and were introduced to Sally. We got stuck in various tasks - lopping back bushes, wheelbarrowing gravel to and fro to smooth out the path, and building a bench! We got as much done as we could, with leftover gravel but thankfully not leftover screws, consumed some delicious biscuits and juice and headed off on our way back.
Another great task we would always be happy to return to.
Hopefully see a bunch of you at the pub quiz on Sunday! We will be at the Ale House from about six, with the quiz starting from 7. Any questions, give us a shout.
