Curtain up...

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

Mrs J was really really hoping for some "curtain experts" for this mission and it was clear she'd formed an opinion of Peter and I within the first few minutes of us walking into her flat that perhaps we weren't as suitably qualified as she'd been expecting...however, not to be deterred we got to work, and with Mrs J's help, had the curtain hooks back into the living room curtains and were soon re-hanging them.

Mrs J had something of a fastidious nature when it came to her curtains, but after a few goes we had them in a condition with which she was "satisfied".

Benefiting from the lessons learned in the living room, the bedroom curtain proved an easier (and thankfully quicker) fix, and the final request was then to remove (and neatly fold...) all the net curtains from their poles to allow Mrs J to wash them.

By the end it was satisfying to hear that Mrs J was pleased with our collective efforts - we happily took the curtain call and left her to enjoy her new found privacy.
