Cryptic Clues this week.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 17th of July 2020
Last week, and after completing a few shopping missions for her, I sensed Ms J was starting to test me on her list to see if I was still paying attention. This week she took it a step further as I found myself scratching my head trying to determine what "Tin Princes" and "White Vine" could possibly refer to on her post it note.
After trying hard not to turn to the answers at the back, I succumbed and called Ms J to get clarification - "Oh" she explained "Peaches" and "Vinegar"...but of course. With the test complete, I was back at Ms J's in no time and pulled out the items from the bag to confirm I'd got exactly what she wanted (the vinegar was to help her descale her kettle...).
"Top of the Class" she declared with a smile.
