Yayyyyy! Out of lockdown and back to Community Missions!
Emma, Laura, Paulin and I met up with Ian for another gardening session at the Old Alleynian Rugby Club. This time, Ian, had us raking out the leaves from the ditches around the rugby grounds. I got the special honors of using the leaf blower, which gave me more than a thrill and a shower of mud. I thoroughly enjoyed all the power I was generating on that bad boy! With the smell of petrol and the sound of the engine, I felt like I was going to drive a F1 car.
Whilst I was blowing leaves to help Emma, Laura and Paulin with emptying the ditches / putting them into piles, they raked the leaves into bulk bags, which they dragged to the main leaf pile.
At the end of the session, Ian gave Emma, Laura and Paulin a run down of the basics in rugby.
