could not complete the mission
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the mission as planned.
I made it to Mr A’s address at 2pm as scheduled. There was no buzzer that I could see, so I called Mr A’s mobile phone (withholding my number as requested). In the conversation we had, Mr A informed me that he wasn’t really expecting anyone and since nobody showed up in the morning, Mr A assumed this was cancelled, and tore up his shopping list.
I asked if he wanted to prepare a new shopping list for me, and said that I was happy to wait for that, but Mr A said he was not very well prepared for that now. He was very apologetic, I assured him that was not a problem, and apologised to him for any miscommunication that might have occurred regarding the time of visit.
I asked him if he definitely had all he needed for today/tomorrow before the shopping help can be rescheduled. He said he was fine, and that he would prefer to rest after his operation and avoid being on his feet. I wished him a pleasant afternoon and evening, said I hoped he’d manage to reschedule the visit to a time that’s more convenient to him, we said goodbye, and I left the address.

Good work for going round and trying to help Mr A, the referrer has since been in touch to rearrange this for a more convenient time for him so Mr A can get his shopping.
