Clothes encounters of the third kind
10 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Hounslow.

Tonight 10 hardy Goodgymers made there way in damp conditions to lend a hand at Ealing Road Baptist Church. Pre Covid this was a regular group run task and task owner Roger was pleased to have our help at the church, which is a hub in the local community as a meeting place, shelter and food bank.
We had been planning on both indoor and outdoor tasks but after the deluge of rain Roger was keen that we avoided getting wet and completed the jobs he'd identified inside. The task was to move and sort through clothes donations. We all donned masks and made use of gloves and hand sanitiser before getting to work.
Luis and Amanda set up the tables for the clothes to be sorted on while the rest of the group formed a human chain to move the boxes and bags of clothes downstairs.
Within 30 minutes we had finished sorting through the items and were headed to the pub, but not before three of us had managed to lose our bike keys (and found them again) and then the rain started up again. Proving once again that "it never rains during a Goodgym task" ...even when Matt Nash isn't there.
Welcome Chris for your third GoodGym task and first post task pub social!
