We lucked out with the rain last night, and instead met outside the Town Hall in lovely evening sunlight last night. After a quick warm up, we took a nice steady run down to Strand on the green primary school, where we were greeted by a massive pile of woodchip and a bonus painting job.
Not to be deterred, while Andy and Analiese tackled the two sheds to be varnished, the rest of the team got stuck into shoveling, shifting and spreading woodchip in the school's 'forest' area, watched over by the resident cat.
After countless trips with full barrows, the glade was looking much better, with a good layer of the extremely pungent woodchip spread over the ground for the kids.
All that was left was to do a quick but testing fitness session and a run back for stretches. Congratulations to all that ran at the Asics 10k last weekend, great work.
