Chipping away
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Lewisham.

Today one Good Gymer found out where all the Christmas trees go. They arrived at the Ringway Centre, a community centre on the site of the former home or Railway Children author E Nesbit, to find a large pile of chipped wood, almost as tall as the runner, with a distinctly spruce-like smell.
The task was a straightforward one: load the chips into a wheelbarrow, move them to the woodland behind the centre and tip them out to rebuild the paths. Two hours later many paths were replenished and the Good Gymer left, noting as they went that the pile of chips was barely smaller than at the start.
This is a lovely task, and given the size of the woodchip pile Good Gym may need to come a few more times before the project is complete.
