Cheerio to the Weetabix
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Wednesday, 18th of November 2020
Mr C was running low on food so I ran up to the food bank to collect a parcel for him.
When I arrived at the food bank the queue was already pretty long. The staff said that demand is increasing every week at the moment and it was a reminder of what a vital role food banks play at the moment. The staff were really helpful and friendly and they tried their very best to accommodate Mr C's requests.
Mr C was very thankful for the food and was glad that I managed to swap the Weetabix for some Cheerios.
