Checking the key for Mrs P
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Friday, 21st of August 2020
Gill and I met Mrs P in her home building to discuss what we could do to help. Unfortunately Mrs P hadn't quite got round to doing the bit of pre-mission prep she'd said she would do, so we started off on a bit of a different footing to what we'd expected.
After chatting for a while, we decided that we would check which of the keys Mrs P owned opened the side door and the door to her garage. This would allow her to make a start by moving some items down to the garage. Gill and I had beginner's luck with the first couple of keys, though the third lock wouldn't budge. Mrs P was happy enough with 2/3 though, and promised us she'd begin to get a few items together in order to clear them out of her flat.
