Centurion or Spartan (or both…) ?
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Saturday, 10th of November 2018
Our host today had been having trouble sleeping owing to a cough, which she suspected the dust under the bed wasn’t helping.
Whilst the flat was spotless, no one had cleaned under the bed in four years, so sure enough there was a population of dustbunnies hopping about under there. 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰
Her grandson had also lost his marbles under there, which we were able to retrieve once we’d pulled out the bed. With the bed out the way, it was straightforward work to hoover and brush up the dust.
Whilst we worked, our host watched The Lord Mayor’s show on the tele, and we talked deeds. This is the first of two Missions this weekend for Chi as he’s packing them in planning to get to 100 before 2019. That means after today, that’s 22 deeds in 50 days. Eminently doable, so another GoodGym centurion to look forward to in the New Year!! 💯
I also learned he’s organising a GoodGym presence (with incentives naturally…) at a Spartan race in the first week of May, so keep an eye out for that!! ⚔️
With the bed back in place on a spotless carpet, we left our gracious host and disappeared back off into the sunshine…
