Carpentry in Motion
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Islington.

Abi, Alex and Simon attended a last minute community mission at the Arc Centre this morning. We met up with Damien (the director) and James (the volunteer carpenter) to assist with constructing a series of planting beds. The big plan is to start growing edible plants and vegetables for local neighborhood families who are currently using the Foodbank at the centre.
First things first, the team collected all the donated wooden panels from the main hall, and brought them outside. The three of us then started to measure out the wooden strips for James to cut down and fix into position. With many hands and some efficient team work, we were able to piece the boxes together in no time!
